Lake Maroon is widely accepted to be superior to nearby Moogerah Dam for skiing as Lake Maroon is a clean and deep body of water, less affected by lower water levels in dry times.

Lake Maroon is also rated as one of Queensland's best Bass fishing impoundments.

Perfectly situated amongst world heritage listed reserves Lake Maroon Holiday Park is BIGGER THAN MOST, with 220 SCENIC ACRES TO EXPLORE.

The park descends down from the mountains to the shore of the lake behind Maroon Dam, providing guests with a variety of activities.

Mt Barney National Park, the Upper Portals, Mt Maroon and Mt May are at your doorstep.

Lake Maroon Holiday Park is ideally located on the vineyard and wine trail, and it's just a short scenic drive to nearby Lake Moogerah and Queen Mary Falls.
